In Training Level Test 3, out of 12 horses Saba placed 2nd with a score of 66%.
In First Level Test 1 (her first time doing a First Level test at a rated show)she was 2nd out of 4, with a score of 61%. I am completely satisfied with that score for a first effort.
I also rode Training Level Test 2 as test 4 was not offered until Sunday and I wanted to ride 3 tests. It was at the end of the day and Saba was ready to go home. She was 3rd out of 10 with a score of 64%.
Because of torrential rain the day before, the Dressage court was put in that open area between the two indoor arenas. Everything else was just soaked beyond use. So we had the hollering and applause coming from the main arena, and the cattle still penned up behind the small indoor arena to make things exciting. On test 2 I think Saba was watching all the human heads bobbing along the top of the indoor arena wall as a large western class was going on. Dressage is a test of obedience, so I can not complain about distractions.
