Winter, please

Our air conditioner blew out yesterday during a brown-out. My husband came home from San Francisco to try to get it working for me and no luck so far. My cats are laying on the floor, panting. I have two aquariums full of fish that are doing ok, but I could lose them if this goes on much longer. I actually put one of my cats in the sink. He bathes well, and was having the most trouble with the heat.
