Tim will climb on the dog bed even when the dog is awake. The dog does not like cats but he tolerates them.
Timmy can not jump on my bed, but he can climb. He has tremendous upper body strength. He gets up there quite well and sleeps with my other two cats. I have to keep my good bedspread off because he hooks his claws in the side of the bed and goes up like a little mountain climber. To ged down, he slides off on his belly and thuds.
