Wow, it started snowing yesterday afternoon and we got up this am to over a foot of new snow. Warmed up also to the high 20's. So I spent the morning plowing. We have quite a long drive and the snow banks are so high now I can't push the snow over them. And since it is heavier snow, I can only push a short section which makes it hard to have anywhere to push the snow. Had to resort to the snowplower to help reduce the amount so I could at least get a narrow strip plowed to the road. Might have to break down and buy a tractor with a frontend loader to deal with the mountains of snow. My driveway is down to a squeeze for the subaru now and the weather forecast calls for snow all week. I may need my snowshoes just to get to the barn or the mailbox. And since I do the Saturday mail delivery, I guess I had better have the driveway open to the road by then. I'll try to get some photos from a few days ago up later. Time now to go clean the stalls so the kids can have the luxery of a stall again tonight.
