Well, I thought I'd give you an update of the mares that will be foaling at our farm this spring. We have 4 mares due for 2008.
MTO is a 1992 bay and white triple registered mare.......Pinto, Half-Arab and NSH. She is bred to Key for hopefully a homozygous pinto filly.....she's had two colts previously.
Cookie is the cremello mare that I got from a girl just down the road...after I looked and looked all over the country for a well broke cremello mare.........She is bred to Alybi and will have a palomino half Arab, colt or filly.
Tubby is a purebred Arab mare......she was foaled in 1984.....I bred her and she is the last daughter of my first (and favorite stallion, Algwyn). We sold her as a weanling and then got her back in 1996 to breed to Key. She's had 13 foals already and is bred to Dallas for #14........hoping for a pinto filly.
And Sierra is my perlino tobiano paint mare that had the buckskin pinto colt from last year that we are keeping...She's bred back to Alybi.....think spotted filly!!
