We have close to 3 feet of snow and today it is sunny and 15 degrees. It is getting colder the next few days, down to 12 below at night. The price you pay for the clear skies. But nice after lots of cloudy weather. I love the snowshoeing. We just got a few inches of powder so the snow will be quiet and I'll be able to see more game. I usually see moose, elk, deer etc. The snow had gotten crusty recently so was noisy and the critters were able to hear me coming. Now with the new snow it will be quiet and I will be able to spot animals more often. We live in the valley bottom so most of the ungulates are down here for the winter.
