All horses doing great, Ash finished the year as Washington's 4th place endurance horse, (19th for our whole region) 6th in our region weight division, completed our first two 75's and a 100. Was invited to join an endurance team here in the PNW which is very flattering and I am going to the Reno/Sparks AERC convention in Feb.!!!! My stepdaughter is loving our little rescue horse Teak, he's so appreciative and a kind soul, but still peppy and full of himself now that he has a job. (He even stopped quidding his food after starting his riding, he was mostly just depressed I think!) I'm still appraising and may start my own business this spring, the company I work for merged with another international company and it looks like they are phasing out residential appraising and going mostly commercial. Might be a good change for me. The leased mare I have is almost 8 months along!! Can see the baby kicking now and am getting excited. (In case anyone's forgotten, it will be half arab and half kiger mustang! Dad is 1/2 brother to the kiger Steven Speilberg purchased.) Still hoping for a boy, but have a feeling it's a girl. Names I have picked are: Kiger Sheharazade (girl) and Kiger Dune (boy.) I liked Kiger Sham, but my husband's name is Sam and that seems too close! My son played football for the first time this year and had a blast (he's 15) - 2 receptions, a 2pt. conversion and an interception! Donte (my ex endurance horse)and the 3 cats are all fat and sassy. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all!! Thanks for all the updates!! But more photos please!!! Sue S. there will be quite a few Idaho endurance rides this year!
