Posted by ShannonK It felt so good to get out and mess with them again. Hopefully, I can get more training in before it gets too cold. I just have to sneak out when and if she takes good naps during the day. I got out again yesterday but she didn't sleep long enough for me to do much.

For the first time since I had Alicia I was able to get out and work with the horses Monday. I've finally felt up to getting some good exercise now and have been itching to get out with them so I snuck out during one of Alicia's naps. Thank the Lord for baby monitors. This thing is a Godsend and it works from the round pen. The first day I bitted up Sasha and worked her in the round pen and she remembered everything she had learned from last spring and did WONDERFUL! I really love this filly's work ethic. She loves to do stuff and really tries hard and really focuses on my body movement for cues. She's turning into me to change directions, stopping when I ask and follows me around really good, moves her hindquarters and forquarters and all that good stuff. I also got a chance to work Elkie in the round pen. This was her second time ever and she did great too. Funny how they can remember stuff after not being worked for a very long time. Unfortunately, I didn't get any pictures of Elkie because the batteries went out on the camera. I'll try and get more next time.
