The weather is a relatively mild Rocky Mt climate. Some snow here in the valley in winter, lots more on the mountains above us. We do have a pretty short growing season though. Had a hard frost before the end of August. We are having a lovely fall now. Cool nights and warm days. And being drier here, the horses hooves are much tougher already after leaving the wet western WA climate.
