ok, the Dust Devil endurance ride is on Oct. 28th and they do a costume contest if anyone wants to dress up. Last year a guy dressed as spiderman and painted a black web on his gray horse. It looked awesome. I want to be a skeleton on a skeleton horse. I figure my part will be easy, however, what kind of paint could I use on Ash that won't come off when he sweats but also won't hurt him? Any ideas from the crafty sort out there? I was thinking of making some stencils to make it easier to get the "bones" on, painting each one individually might be tedious, plus he doesn't really like being messed with too much, especially prior to a ride. I also figure towards the end, if we do the 75/80 distance, if it's dark, I'll break a glow stick open and go over the "bones" to make them glow in the dark. (The contents are supposed to be non-toxic.) A spray would be the easiest for the white bones or even something that you can dab or sponge on.
