Posted by Patty J I went for one day and believe I had the only Arabian there that day. I rode Training Level Test 3 for a warm up (and confidence booster since that is my favorite test) and Robby earned her highest score ever!!! She got 2nd place out of 3 with a 67%, and the first place horse was 67% with only a fraction of a percent higher. It was a one point difference actually in overall points earned. Then we were on for the big First Level Test 1. I was nervous and rode accordingly. Made some mistakes, but still managed to get a score of 65%. We didn't do anything special in the placings, but I was completely overjoyed with such a score. Still can't believe it actually. It didn't feel like that great of a ride, but Rob and I got all 6's and 7's with one score of 8 for a hault. Oh, if I could have only taken Zarra.....but I am proud of Robby and might give her a chance at some harder First Level Tests before the year is over. Maybe

Robby (Mia Rabbia) got put on the back burner a bit this year as far as showing Dressage due to her hock issues and my wanting to show Zarra (age 21) more. We had a bad experience earlier this year doing First Level Dressage and I have been reluctant to try it again. A rated Open Show was to be held within a half hour drive from where I live. My original plan was to take Zarra for her first First Level rides, but she is currently laid up for a while due to a serious injury. So Robby was given another chance.
