The author is funny and makes complicated science easy to understand, but my complaint about the book is that it devoted 17 chapters on stress causes and effects, and 1 chapter on how to manage it.
My other complaint is that you come away pretty sickened by the animal experimenting we do. I already knew how awful it can be (when I thought I was going to be a veterinarian I worked in a medical lab that did experiments on animals), but it was an unwelcome reminder.
