ion lightning help

Hi, if anyone is here. I made a building called ion defense. it createsa sensor radius and if anyone enters it the idea is that they get struck by lightning. But, all i can get is the warhead to hit the hostile unit. I cannont find the animation for ion lightning nor do i know how to use it, anybody want to help me?
