I had heard that people were trying to sell any dog that resembled an Airedale as an Airedale. The same thing happened when fox terriers became exceedingly popular, and I suppose it happens every time any breed becomes very popular. But I hadn’t heard the rest of it regarding Airedales. Can you be more specific as to what and when; for example, what breed specific laws were passed regarding the Airedale and when, and when was the Airedale recognized as a pestilence. What about the bad name? They had a bad name in WY for killing sheep. Is that what you’re talking about?
