I have long thought about getting an Airedale to hunt with. I have inquired a couple of times about them but a $1000 and up asking price some so called hunting line breeders were wanting is out of my range. Having a family to support does not allow me at this time to spend $1000 for a hunting dog. What irks me is the way some of these people almost belittle because I can not come up with that kind of dough. I don't want a pound dog or another breed that is cheaper, I want an Airedale.
