Charlie, I can vouch for Gloria. I had Sister Gregory before she went to Cottage 43. I got there in Aug. of 1939 6 years old in Oct.
We had gotten 2 new Little girls they must have just turned 6. When it was time for them to go to bed these little girls would cry until Sister Gregory can in the Dom. and picked up Moreen Parott up and sat in her rocker and held her till she fell asleep. She made sure she kissed her good night and put her in her bed each night.
There was another little girl that came to AGO at the same time and Sr. Gregory did the same for her. You talk about Sister being a Mother to these little children. I can tell you a lot of stories about Sister(Mother) Gregory.
