I've gotta say Al, that Nationals was an excellent meet.What a great bunch of people to be able to spend our time with.I was able this year to get back in the gym,and to my suprise,got a workout partner in my 16 yr old daughter.What a treat.Along now with the health,pride,and friendships I have made,my daughter will have a whole new world opened to her.And that is just to cool.She has already had the chance to travel,has met some"interesting" people(C'mon we're Powerlifters,speaks volumns),and has had the chance to compete and feel the energy that comes with the Power Lifter's world.
I just wanted to take the time to thank Al, Brenda, and Jay for their hospitality,the meet staff for such a good job of keeping the lifters safe.And the integrity of the judges in keeping the expectations equal throughout the meet.
I also would like to thank Joe Orengia for introducing me to this sport and basically changing me and my families lives.Words will never cover for me how important people like the Orengia's and the Siegle's are for how and what they have started with the A.D.A.U. but,and Joe knows,this sport and organization has made me a better person and afforded me an awesome way to show my family possibly the best way to live your life.
