Does anybody train deadlifts using straps to tie into the bar? I was thinking about starting to use them for my last set becasue my gym doesnt allow chalk and the bars are bald, they have practiclly no knarling on them. I have stickum but even that only does so well. My fear is that if i use them, even if only for the last set, when it comes time for that one rep in competition my grip with my hands (and chalk of course) will have been hindered.
Any input would be GREATLY appreciated
