Another option - what we did- is to have the new baby tested by sending the umbilical cord blood to a lab after the baby's born. I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm not surprised that you're worried about having another child with DiGeorge.
Most of the 22q/digeorge cases are not repeated in a family. Most are "genetic glitches" that occur to only one child
I hope it all goes well.
