: now that there is another operation
: they could try.
:
: I am not sure whether to put him
: through yet another operation.
:
: Sorry I couldn't be of more help,

:hi, shelley
Its melonie, sorry to hear, the pharyngoplasty for us was the biggest op that connor has had! It was horrible, I know that the doctors couldn't be sure if it would work, but i dont think i could do that one again....... I said to my mum when we were at hospital, "fancy bringing a healthy child here and putting him through this"...... I have wondered ever since if the doctors actually know the outcomes of the operations they peform. We meet with the surgeon 1month after the op... But do they take the time in the long run to know the actual extend of their successes or failures?
I ask this because if this hasnt worked for my son they probably wont be getting another go!
So if i dont follow up with more operations to them is he their success or failure?
Sorry i know your are in the same situation!
I think u are brave woman for going through that 3times..
Goodluck
PS just wondering if u lived in Australia
