Hi, I can feel with you in that. Our daughter had the same problem. (Not De George but 22Q 11.2 distal deletion) until she was 6. We then started to use up to 50 ml lactulose a day,+ something every weekend to get her stomach going. A mess wit a lot of diapers for more than half a yesar, but then her bowel was down to more normal size and she could have some control, both pressing out, and keeping it in. Now, 3 yrs later, we are down on 15 ml lactulose each day, and think we will be able to get her on a diet which will get her intestines working without lactulose at all. Best of all, she has control! So, 1: Get his intestines down to normal size, so they have a chance to work. 2: Always have small pieces of fresh carrot or apples or some prunes ready, offering it at certain times during the day. Good luck! A father from Scandinavia.--Previous Message--

: having a bowel movement. It just
: seems to keep getting worse over
: time. He is still in pull ups
: because he has no control. We have
: seen countless doctors and have
: (according to the doctors) exhausted
: all medicines and testing to
: determine what is causing this to

: eating because his stomach is always
: full. The only time I can get
: anything out of him is to give him
: an enima, but that only helps for a
: short amount of time. He looks so
: ill all the time because of this
: just sitting inside of him. It is
: breaking my heart to see him like
: this and I am feeling like I am
: failing him as a mommy. Can anyone
