My son has very bad leg pains mostly at night after I lay him down. He has seem specialists at CHOP who have told me that he has hyperextensive knees. I have to stretch his legs out a few times a day and we have also gotten him special arches for his shoes. So far ... this seems to really be helping him. He still gets some leg pain at night, but not as often as he used to.
