My son was diagnosed when he was almost 4 with 22q Deletion - DiGeorge Syndrome. He is now 7 and we are seeing all kinds of specialist at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Since birth he has had a lot of trouble having a bowel movement. It just seems to keep getting worse over time. He is still in pull ups because he has no control. We have seen countless doctors and have (according to the doctors) exhausted all medicines and testing to determine what is causing this to happen. My son has a hard time eating because his stomach is always full. The only time I can get anything out of him is to give him an enima, but that only helps for a short amount of time. He looks so ill all the time because of this just sitting inside of him. It is breaking my heart to see him like this and I am feeling like I am failing him as a mommy. Can anyone please help? What could be causing this problem?? Why can't the doctors help him???
