my son is nearly 3 and was also diagnosed after birth. he didnt need heart surgery but he doesnt sleep as well as i would like every night either. i dont know if part of it is growing pain or what but i am now on medication myself just to get sleep but it doesnt help if im getting up to take care of him 3 times a night.
