Susan,
I'm on the other side...dating someone with a 9 year old 22q13 son. My two sons are 11 and 13, very active in sports and our lifestyle is very busy at times even somewhat chaotic. He has primary custody of his son and the child's mother raely sees him. His son does not speak, walks but is not steady, is not potty trained and only seems to enjoy watching certain videos. He has him on such a routine schedule it seems like that is all the child knows. I guess what I am getting at, is do you have other children? I am very scared to even consider blending families. I know this is different from other postings out there and will understand if you don't want to respond.
Thanks, AG.
