Our daughter is 2 years old. She was dignosed with Digeorge Syndrome in her 1st week of life. She had Open heart surgery at 3 months old, to remove a Vascular ring and to repair 2 VSD's. She is doing quite well today. She is a very bright child as far as understanding goes. She is starting to speak. She is slowly potty training.
We are having a terrible time at night to get her to bed. She still sleeps in a crib, she has shown no interest into moving into a bed. We have it in her room already. Sometimes she doesn't sleep through the night, we made the mistake of bringin her into our bed. Last night I set up her playpen in our room and explained to her that if she was going to sleep in our room that is where she has to sleep. She went right to sleep. This was after being in the crib and crying for 1/2 hour. Does anyone else have sleepless nights? We are up at least 3 nights a week.
