Hi, I have a five year old that was born with a nonfunctional left mouth muscle. We took her to Gillettes CH and we were told that she had Cardio Facial syndrome or Assimetrical crying facies syndrome. We were told to have her kidneys and heart checked which we did yesterday and both came back ok but the dr. said that what she really has is DiGeorge Syndrome. The only thing she has wrong is her abnormal mouth. Is this what she has? I am really confused! They did a blood test but they said it would take several weeks for the results.
Thanks for you thoughts,
