I was diganose with 22q when I was between 12 and 13 years old. It was hard for me to realize that I got a disorder. It's even more hard for me now because I can't seem to get a job of my own. No buddy wants a disorder person to work for them especially if that person got a speach problem and a hearing loss. But it's so hard to find one that a boss would expect. So parents dont give up on your kids. and help them as much as you can. Teach them to type and write better and teach them to do better school work. So they wont end uo like me. A 21 year old with no job, no SSI and no mass health. Dont be afraid to sneak help for them. I had it rough for me. But please dont give up on your kids. Never close up on their dreams jobs. Help them fight for it.
