Darlene, I just wanted to offer that In my opinion the recomendations given by Nancy are excellent. My Son is 29yrs old and suffered the same type of symptoms at about 15 yrs except for the skelatal and muscular limitations. However we did not have a proper diagnosis of 22Q until he was 27 yrs old... so when these symptoms began he was referred to mental health proffesionals that started down the long road of what they understood...After many years of medications that have very little if any affect we found that he had 22 q and have identified that these symptoms are very "autistic spectrum" in nature and both the effectiveness of medication and the degree of symptoms very greatly from person to person. I whole heartedly recommend you only deal with experts in 22q to be referred for treatment of these mental and emotional symptoms.
