Hi Dawn. Does your son take any antidepressants? My daughter is 12 and we have found that this is a big help. She is able to concentrate more at school and her behavior has changed for the better. Hope this helps. Take Care.
: Hi, my son Alex was diagnosed with
: DiGeorge when he was 8 months old
: and has had the "typical"
: symptoms associated with this
: sydrome. Alex is now 14 years old
: and in Grade 8. and in the last year
: we have noticed a considerable
: change in behaviour. He is
: typically quite hyper however, now
: he is really becoming a problem
: behaviourly at school. we are not
: sure how to deal with this, we are
: very supportive of the school but at
: this point at our "wits
: end". Is anyone dealing with
: the same issues as we are ? Is this
: a hormonal thing? What can we do?
:
: I would appreciate any insight or
: solutions that you have come up
: with.
: Thanks ! - Dawn Therres
