Our daughter with 22q13,3 had sleeping problems. Now she is on medication for that and it works really well. Now she is sleeping the whole night and it is nice for both her and us to get a good nights sleep. She even seems to be a little more relaxed during the days. Donīt hesitate to give your child sleeping medicine. Nobody can live with waking up every night in the long run. Talk to your doctor.
Maybe you have already, it was quite some time since you wrote this. I hope you're fine!

: Does anyone have sleep problems with
: their child? My eight-year old with
: VCFS is constantly waking up at
: night with nightmares. Overall
: she's a fairly anxious child, and
: within the last year she's mentioned
: two experiences where she says she's
: heard voices. (NOT what I want to
: hear given the prevalence of
: Schitzophrenia (sp??) with these
: kids. Anyway, I'm just wondering
: what others have run into.
: Thanks
