IgA Deficiency

I have twin 8 year old boys who both have the 22q deletion. Our most recent hurdle has been dealing with multiple sinus, lung, and now repeated parotid (salivary gland) infections. We now know they both have IgA deficiencies. The treatment so far is ongoing low dose prophylactic antibiotics. Has anyone else dealt with something similar? If so, what was the treatment and how well did it go?
