A widely broadcast announcement of the end of the war referred to "wartime double daylight savings time" if that is of any help...
I've tried to read about dates and clock readings during the Second World War, but few of my questions have been answered.
Can you recommend source(s) that deal with dates and times in the U.S. media vs local times of events?
The relation of War Time to U.S. times (Washington, D.C. time)? What happened to U.S. daylight savings time in the midst of all this . . .
etc, etc, etc.
Thanks for any help!
