I don’t have any specific information on the subject, but at Spirit of ‘45 last weekend, we had an elderly Japanese-American come up to us and told us of his stay in a camp in Wyoming, and that his elder brother had been put to work “making those” (pointing to our models on display). A very interesting conversation indeed!
I am looking for written information and images of the 1/300 or 1/600 German warship identification models made by interned Japanese Americans during WW II. I have read/seen such material in past but can't remember where. Anything about that program would be welcome.
Much thanks,
Robert
