There's always a chance you'll find something 'special' that you've been looking for at the show. If you don't - well these shows are pretty friendly and there's generally people to talk to.
Dave Willcocks has another show at Wellow, on the 19th November and the Ocean Liner Society has its annual event in Southampton in mid-November - details to follow!

Thank you very much. I will miss the Southampton show by a few days, will be there earlier boarding the Queen Mary 2 for the Atlantic Crossin. Please keep us posted on future show, I'll rearrange my booking to match.
I'm putting this up for the benefit of anyone who might be travelling in the UK and who might fancy a visit to one of our events.
There are three shows in the next three months, all of which will be worth visiting. Shows are usually held on Sundays - the September one is an exception.
July 16th - Wellow, near Southampton (UK postcode: SO51 6BR) - organised by Dave Willcocks and featuring himself (Dreadnought), CNC (Clive Newman), Coastlines (Roger Dawson) and others.
July 30th - Faldingworth, near Lincoln (LN8 3SE) - my event (Convoy models). Other stallholders include CNC, Coastlines, and Nev Khan. John Laing (John's Miniature Ships) & James Waldmayer (Equilux/Shipshape) will be there explaining 3D printing and other people within the hobby should be popping in.
September 23rd - North West Ship Show, Liverpool (L22 1RE) A Saturday event organised by the World Ship Society. A 'maritime' event so lots of things to look at and good new and pre-loved books for sale. Three ship dealers that I know of (there may be more): CNC, Nev Khan & myself, and there are usually other models to be found.
(Any omissions are un-intentional)
