Paul - where does one source PaperLab models these days?
Here are two recent PaperLab issues. These models were released as kits. They are easily assembled as all parts fit perfectly in place. Unless you want to simply paint them overall gray (they are cast in black plastic), the real challenge is in painting, and decaling them, as the details are very fine. It's a time consuming effort, but the results can be rewarding.
The models are the cruiser FRESNO, Circa 1947, which is different from the Neptun JUNEAU II in a variety of ways, primarily in the armament, and the NORTON SOUND AVM1, circa 1972-4 as Aegis trial ship. This model differs in many ways from the Spider Navy model as each reflects the ship at different times in its career.
