Most likely the Wilh. Wilhelmsen freighter Troubadour out of Norway. Many, if not most of the Wilhelmsen freighters had names beginning with T...Talleyrand, Trobriand come to mind. I saw many of them as a kid living in Southeast Asia in the late '60's - '70's. Unfortunately, there seem to very few, if any, models of the Wilhelmsen ships (one of the largest shipping lines of all time) in 1250 . I'm only aware of one VLCC Tanker, it's name escapes me, I think it is a Carat model. Maybe one day!
Does anyone know of a model of a cargo vessel in use in the 1950s/1960s named the Troubadour? She would have worked ports in the SoCal vicinity at least on occasion. I ask because there was a great shot of her bow (named prominently displayed) on an old episode of Perry Mason I saw last night.... just kind of neat.
