Bel Geddes streamlined ocean liner model

The post about Bel Geddes models prompted me to look up my records of a visit early in May of this year that I made to the Victoria & Albert Museum in London to see a special exhibition, "Ocean Liners: Speed and Style". Included was the large scale model of the Norman Bel Geddes model for a streamlined ocean liner. The model was dated as 1932 in wood and paint and listed as Gift to the Museum of City of New York in 1941 by Norman Bel Geddes. This exhibition has now moved to the new museum in Scotland, the V&A Dundee.
It seems that models were gifted to others in his lifetime and so his collection of miniature models may have been widely dispersed and very few went to Austin, see below.
