Matt is a good dealer and I'm sure there's nothing to worry about, although I agree its a long time to wait.
Have you sent him a reminder recently?
I have ordered from Matt directly (http://mtminiatures.com/). The order was made on 18th March. I have asked about the progress in late May and he said itís almost finished. I asked again in late June and said it was progressing well. But he works part time I guess it still makes sense. I have ordered three kits for conversion in late May but said to be still awaiting decals. I am just a bit worry because of my previous experience.
have you checked that the order has been received? and who you ordered from and when ! DAVE HAD health problems which caused the sale! MATT is a great bloke but the models are only part time at the moment.
Dave Love was very prompt when he ran Mountford, but he sold the business. I think Matt Tennent bought the concern, which is now part of MT Miniatures Ltd. Last I knew, he was selling 1/1200 and 1/1250 painted models and kits, but I have not done any business with his company and can ill-advise about turn-around time. Three months is a very long time, and I would ask the maker for a response. Please tell us how the response turns out because such information is in all our interest. Yet at this stage, I am not at all sure whom you bought the model from. I believe this is the second time you have had a problem. Usually, dealers are very efficient and responsive. Chris and Peter certainly are, as are most of the rest.
I have ordered a painted model from Mountford but it has been more than three months and I am still waiting for the product. I would just like to know whether it's normal to wait for that long? Thank you for an info!
