I hope these will be useful for anyone contemplating buying printed models to show how a little 'elbow grease' and several applications of primer/filler paint can result in an acceptable finish - comparable with injected plastic and cast metal.
Today's task for me was to mask the carrier and spray paint the deck -
The model masked ready for spraying - this took almost 2 hours to do.

There are a tiny number of 'pin holes' but otherwise the deck is smooth.

The next step will be to add exhaust vents and gun barrels, followed by some detailed painting before I start on the deck markings.
