One thing struck me that had never occurred to me before.... It was common for the NC-SD-Iowa class ships to carry quad 40mm mounts on the B and X main battery turrets, but it does not see to be so with the older vessels. I wonder if there were weight problems with main battery turret rotation were those extra mounts added. Do you have any idea?
